Shampoo

Before wetting your hair, gently brush through your extensions to make sure they are completely tangle-free.

Shampoo your hair twice, taking the time to thoroughly cleanse your scalp and around all weft connections. Product, oil and dry shampoo build-up around the scalp can contribute to irritation and itchiness, so keeping this area clean is important.

Avoid vigorously scrubbing or bunching the lengths of your extensions together while shampooing. Allow the shampoo to gently run through the lengths as you rinse.

After shampooing, gently squeeze excess water from your hair using a towel.

Avoid vigorous towel drying or rubbing the hair together, as this can disturb the cuticle and encourage tangling.
