Heat protection, always

Apply heat protection before blow-drying or using any heat styling tools.

We recommend Tuscany Hair Extensions Heat Protector or a professionally prescribed Kérastase heat protectant.

Always blow-dry your extensions thoroughly after shampooing.

Pay particular attention to your roots and weft connections, ensuring they are completely dry. Leaving the roots or wefts damp for extended periods can encourage tangling and matting.

Never go to bed with wet or damp extensions.

Heat styling

Heat protection is essential every single time you use heat.

This is important for both your extensions and your natural hair. Excessive heat can cause dryness, colour fading and may shorten the lifespan of your extensions.

For best results:

  • Keep heated styling tools at 185°C or below
  • Always use heat protection
  • Aim to limit heat styling to approximately 1–2 times per week
  • Take advantage of your extensions’ ability to hold a style for longer between shampoos
